The role

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid position based in Australia. As a senior member of our engineering group, you will tackle complex, web-scale challenges while helping us build high-performance, scalable solutions that keep our customers safe.

Core responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the development lifecycle, from frontend and backend implementation to production DevOps tasks.
• Collaborate directly with our team and customers to influence product design and shape the future direction of our platform.
• Engage in green-fields development to introduce innovative new features while mastering the fundamentals of cybersecurity.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess strong software design skills and a track record of building scalable systems. We value pragmatic decision-making and a collaborative spirit. Key qualifications include:

• Proficiency with our modern technology stack, including React, Go, and Kubernetes.
• Experience working within Google Cloud Platform.
• A solid understanding of cybersecurity principles or a strong willingness to learn the domain.
• A bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience working in agile development environments and on SaaS products.
