What you'll be doing

• You will take ownership of the development of our core software platform, QuantAQ Cloud, which supports our globally distributed sensor network.
• You will work across the full stack to build and maintain the tools that provide our customers with real-time, actionable air quality insights.
• You will collaborate with our product team to iterate on our technology, helping us meet an ambitious roadmap for the coming year.

What you'll bring

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and eager to learn new technologies. While you do not need to check every single box, we are looking for the following skills and experience:

• Strong proficiency in Python and Flask.
• Experience with JavaScript and modern front-end frameworks like React.
• A solid understanding of database management and optimization, specifically with PostgreSQL and Redis.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, including Docker, Traefik, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working with cloud infrastructure, such as DigitalOcean or S3 storage solutions.
• An interest in IoT communication and the ability to thrive in a startup environment where you can iterate on prototypes.
• Excellent written communication skills and the ability to work effectively in English.
