At Exodus, we are on a mission to help half the world transition from traditional finance to the crypto-based financial system by 2030. Since our founding in 2015, we have operated as a fully distributed team, building a multi-asset cryptocurrency wallet that features a built-in exchange. About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer for a full-time, remote position. In this role, you will be a key contributor to our engineering projects, helping to refine our codebase architecture and drive technical initiatives forward. We are looking for someone with the ambition to grow into a technical leadership role within their first year, working alongside our product managers and fellow engineers to deliver high-quality features and improve our overall technical infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy new features in alignment with our engineering and product roadmaps.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain high standards of quality and consistency across our projects.
- Collaborate with product and engineering managers to evaluate project requirements, estimate timelines, and respond to technical incidents.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should be an expert in JavaScript and Node.js. We are looking for candidates who possess significant experience in either front-end development using React, React Native, and Redux, or back-end development using technologies like Postgres, DocumentDB, and various AWS services. You should be comfortable with modern build tooling such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, and Lerna, and you must be an excellent communicator who is ready to thrive in a collaborative environment.

Compensation and Benefits
