By combining live instruction with a dedicated community and structured timelines, we have transformed the online learning experience. While traditional self-paced courses often see completion rates as low as 5 percent, our students finish at a rate of 70 to 90 percent. We are backed by 25 million dollars in funding from investors like Andreessen Horowitz and First Round, and we are currently on a clear path toward profitability.

What you'll be doing

You will take full ownership of major sections of our rapidly expanding marketplace, including the storefront and our next-generation course platform.
You will design and maintain our recommendation and data systems to ensure a seamless experience for our instructors and students.
You will collaborate with a world-class engineering team to build, iterate, and scale our core technical infrastructure.

What you'll bring

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who is a crisp, thoughtful communicator and possesses a high degree of agency. To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

At least 5 years of professional experience shipping features to a real user base.
Strong proficiency with React, NextJS, Python, FastAPI, and Postgres.
The ability to balance high-level data model design with low-level performance optimization.
Fluency in English to collaborate effectively with our remote team.

What you'll get

The salary range for this position is $170,000 to $220,000 USD. In addition to your salary, you will receive strong equity and the following benefits:
