What you bring

As a Senior Software Engineer working on a full-time basis, you will be a vital part of our technical team in St. Louis, Missouri. This role requires an on-site presence four days a week as you tackle complex challenges in embedded software development. Your daily contributions will focus on the following core responsibilities:

• Designing and maintaining high-performance embedded systems using modern C++ and embedded Linux.
• Debugging intricate communication issues between software and hardware components.
• Developing and improving simulators to enhance our software testing methodologies and black-box evaluations.

Requirements

To succeed in this position, you must be a U.S. Citizen with a strong background in software engineering. We are looking for someone who possesses deep expertise in C++ and PetaLinux, alongside proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell and BASH. You should be comfortable working with Docker containers and CI/CD pipelines. We value candidates who can translate complex technical concepts into clear documentation using UML tools. Strong analytical skills for debugging and a proactive approach to solving technical problems are essential. While not required, experience in the aerospace or defense sectors, as well as knowledge of Python, Java, or VxWorks, will be considered a significant asset.
