We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. PublicSquare serves as a premier commerce and payments ecosystem, dedicated to supporting businesses and consumers who prioritize life, family, and freedom. Our organization operates across three distinct segments, including a marketplace that helps users shop their values, a financial technology division that powers payments and financing, and a portfolio of direct-to-consumer brands. As a senior member of our engineering team, you will play a vital role in building and refining our merchant-facing web applications, which are essential for onboarding and servicing our business partners.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy high-quality software solutions for our merchant portal.
- Collaborate directly with business stakeholders to translate needs into actionable product roadmaps and technical requirements.
- Mentor fellow engineers while contributing to the ongoing improvement of our team's internal engineering standards and processes.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong background in web development and a commitment to building reliable software. We require the following qualifications:
- Extensive proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with React and NextJS.
- A proven track record of delivering cloud-based applications via CI/CD pipelines.
- A deep passion for automation and writing clean, testable code.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly present ideas and document technical processes.
- Experience working alongside business stakeholders to define and execute software solutions.
