We are Apixio, a company at the intersection of health plans and providers that is building a Connected Care platform to reduce reimbursement inaccuracies and support high-quality patient care. Our work combines healthcare expertise with AI and machine learning to help the industry move toward value-based reimbursement models while improving efficiency and patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain back-end services with C# and .NET while also developing document management solutions that handle OCR, Grooper, and PDF processing.
- Create and support front-end web architecture using ASP.NET web forms and React, and develop RESTful APIs that connect services and enhance the user experience.
- Write and optimize SQL code and stored procedures, contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, participate in code reviews, and collaborate with UX designers and scrum teams to deliver reliable software.
Requirements
- Five or more years of hands-on experience with Grooper or an equivalent OCR document-processing technology, along with five or more years working with C#, .NET, SQL, REST APIs, and React.
- Proven skill in writing and tuning SQL stored procedures, manipulating PDFs programmatically, and building solutions that use REST APIs, serverless architecture, CI/CD tools, and public or private cloud environments.
- Strong problem-solving ability, effective communication skills, and a track record of working both independently and within collaborative teams; a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field is preferred, as is prior experience in the healthcare industry and familiarity with tools such as Confluence and JIRA.
What we offer
