Founded in 2013 by Danish car dealer Jesper Ratza, we set out to modernize B2B vehicle trading and help dealers boost sales and margins. Since AutoScout24 acquired a majority stake in 2022, our platform has grown rapidly across Europe, now handling more than 150,000 B2B used cars each year and building the continent’s first fully integrated C2B-B2B-B2C marketplace for used vehicles.

What is this role?

We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join our Seller Problem Space squad on a full-time, on-site basis at our headquarters in Vejle, Denmark. The position calls for senior-level experience and places you at the heart of the team that simplifies how dealers price trade-in and in-stock cars.

What will you do?

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code while following engineering best practices and proven design patterns.
• Champion a “you build it, you own it, you run it” culture by taking full responsibility for the solutions you create and operate.
• Mentor and coach teammates on topics where you have deep expertise, while continuously identifying opportunities for your own growth.

What makes you a great fit?

You thrive in an agile, international environment and bring solid experience with .NET and C#. You have a strong grasp of object-oriented programming, distributed systems, and event-driven architecture, along with hands-on work using MySQL or another relational database. You are comfortable with a range of design and architectural patterns and modern system-development practices, and you communicate fluently in business English. You enjoy troubleshooting, debugging, and proposing clear solutions, and you pick up new technologies quickly. Experience with AWS infrastructure-especially containerization and serverless computing-or with RESTful APIs is a plus.
