We are Geoforce, a global leader in GPS tracking that has been helping businesses manage their assets since 2007. With our technology monitoring over 250,000 assets across more than 90 countries, we provide the visibility and control needed to optimize operations for major clients like DHL, Southwest Airlines, and SLB. We are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a remote position that allows you to work from anywhere in the country, though please note that this role requires national travel up to 25% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and modify our SaaS applications for GPS asset tracking, utilizing C# and .NET to build robust web solutions.
- Manage our AWS cloud infrastructure, including the creation of serverless applications with Lambda functions, API Gateway configuration, and RDS database management.
- Maintain and improve our data systems by writing complex SQL Server stored procedures, triggers, and T-SQL scripts to support new telemetry features.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
- At least six years of progressive professional experience in software architecture and design, including leadership experience.
- Proven technical expertise in C#, AWS, SQL Server, ASP.NET, and the NUnit framework.
- Deep understanding of large-scale IoT systems, distributed systems, network security, and fleet management technologies.
- Ability to pass a background check and willingness to travel domestically as needed.
