Senior Software Engineer at Stacklok

Stacklok is a pioneering startup focused on software supply chain security, co-founded by Kubernetes creator Craig McLuckie and Sigstore founder Luke Hinds. We are on a mission to simplify secure software development, and we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain high-quality software while actively contributing to the development of new features and functionalities.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into effective technical solutions and participate in regular code reviews to uphold our standards.
• Enhance system-level security by applying best practices and troubleshooting complex issues to ensure our platform remains reliable and secure.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in the Go programming language and backend development, with a proven track record of delivering scalable and efficient code.
• Strong proficiency with Docker, Linux, and Git, alongside experience working within open-source environments.
• Solid understanding of secure coding frameworks such as OWASP and SSDF, with a specific interest in software supply chain security.
• Experience with modern CI/CD methodologies and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
