Senior Software Engineer at HQxyz

At Headquarters, or HQ.xyz, we are dedicated to transforming how Web3 teams handle their finances. We use blockchain technology to rethink business financial operations, providing a platform where companies can assemble the building blocks they need to manage their own FinOps. We are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team in Singapore on a full-time, on-site basis.

What you'll be doing

• You will collaborate directly with our product team to build and launch features that provide real value to our users.
• You will own the entire delivery process, taking projects from their initial concept all the way through to final deployment.
• You will design and develop robust APIs, libraries, and tools that power the core services our users rely on every day.

What you'll bring

To succeed in this role, you should have between 3 and 7 years of experience shipping backend services and APIs into production environments. We are looking for someone who possesses the following skills and background:

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and NestJS.
• Proven experience shipping production applications using Web3 technologies, including block explorers.
• The ability to interface with smart contracts via ABIs, with bonus points for direct smart contract development experience.
• Hands-on expertise in designing scalable APIs and a deep understanding of microservices and cloud computing.
• A solid grasp of security, session management, and development best practices, along with knowledge of DevOps, SQL, and GraphQL.
• Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to make data-driven decisions regarding technical architecture.
