At Quest Analytics we have spent more than thirty years building the tools that help 95 percent of America’s health plans manage their provider networks, including the eight largest plans in the country. We are now looking for a Senior Software Engineer who wants to help us expand those capabilities and make healthcare access easier for millions of people. You will join a collaborative team that values ownership, clear communication, and practical innovation while giving you the freedom to choose how and where you work each day.
What you'll be doing
- Shape the design and architecture of our platform so it can grow smoothly as we add new customers and features.
- Build and scale new capabilities across the full stack, from backend services to modern web interfaces, while creating the automation and algorithms that keep everything running efficiently.
- Research emerging techniques and design the next generation of tools that will keep our products at the leading edge of enterprise healthcare software.
What you'll bring
You bring at least seven years of commercial software development experience with Microsoft’s .NET Framework, including strong proficiency in C# and its asynchronous and parallel programming features. You are comfortable optimizing C# code for performance and have solid experience with SQL Server or similar relational databases, including query tuning, indexing, and large data volumes. You have worked with Dapper or Entity Framework, understand NoSQL stores such as MongoDB, and have built cloud-native solutions on Azure using Functions, Event Grid, Service Bus, and Blob Storage. You design, build, and consume REST APIs, have frontend experience with HTML, CSS or Sass, and at least one modern JavaScript framework (React is preferred). You write unit tests, follow SOLID principles, and manage source code with Git. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field-or an equivalent combination of education and experience-is required. You communicate clearly, thrive in Agile product teams, translate high-level requirements into production-ready code, and take full ownership of your work.
What you'll get
We offer company-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance, flexible hours, and the choice to work remotely, on a hybrid schedule, or in the office. You receive flexible, uncapped paid time off along with standard holidays and sick leave. Our entrepreneurial culture encourages you to explore ideas beyond a strict job description, and we make sure your contributions are recognized and rewarded. You will work alongside a supportive group of colleagues who value both results and a positive day-to-day experience.
