What you'll be doing

• Lead a product squad to achieve key business outcomes while simultaneously strengthening the stability and performance of our technical platform.
• Collaborate directly with business stakeholders to build and refine products that improve the user experience and drive our financial goals.
• Design and implement robust technical solutions, including the integration of GenAI agents and the optimization of our data infrastructure, to ensure our systems scale effectively.

What you'll bring

We are looking for a seasoned engineer who thrives in dynamic, high-traffic e-commerce environments. You should have a strong background in software engineering and a desire to solve complex problems as part of a collaborative team. Your technical toolkit should include:

• Proficiency in at least one of our core languages: Java, Python, or TypeScript.
• Experience designing and building both internal and external APIs, along with a deep understanding of data engineering principles.
• A passion for writing maintainable code, implementing best practices, and utilizing performance profiling to optimize system behavior.
• Familiarity with AWS, GraphQL, and modern CI/CD or containerization practices is considered a significant advantage.
• Excellent communication skills in English and a readiness to work in a hybrid capacity within the greater New York City area.
