Senior Software Engineer at Seyond

Seyond is a global leader in image-grade LiDAR technology, dedicated to creating a safer and more mobile world. We serve the automotive, robotics, and industrial automation sectors from our Silicon Valley headquarters and global research facilities. Our flagship products, such as the Falcon and Robin sensors, are currently used by major partners like NIO and Faraday Future, with over 200,000 units already in the field. We are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in the United States. In this role, you will help us push the boundaries of autonomous driving and smart infrastructure by developing and deploying sophisticated perception software.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize high-performance LiDAR-based perception software for advanced autonomous applications.
• Implement and refine machine learning models to improve object detection, classification, and tracking.
• Deploy and test real-time software solutions on edge AI hardware, specifically utilizing platforms like NVIDIA Jetson.

Requirements

To be successful in this position, you should have a strong background in software engineering and a passion for robotics or autonomous systems. We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in software engineering, with a focus on robotics or autonomous driving.
• Proficiency in C++ and Python.
• Extensive experience working within Linux environments, including debugging and performance profiling.
• A solid understanding of machine learning frameworks and perception algorithms.
