We are looking for a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our collaborative team in Seattle and help us build the technology that drives this vital industry forward.
What you'll be doing
- You will design and implement scalable, reliable full-stack solutions for our energy marketplace while partnering closely with product management to turn business requirements into technical reality.
- You will take ownership of complex product initiatives, guiding them from initial design through to production launch and ongoing support.
- You will act as a mentor to your teammates, providing insightful feedback and coaching to help less experienced engineers grow their skills.
What you'll bring
- At least 5 years of professional experience building web applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Proficiency with modern UI frameworks like Angular or React.
- Strong expertise in managing relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- A proven ability to troubleshoot complex production issues and lead root cause analysis efforts.
- Excellent communication skills, allowing you to explain technical concepts to both engineering peers and non-technical stakeholders.
- Fluency in English.
What you'll get
The annual salary for this position ranges from $160,000 to $175,000, depending on your experience and qualifications. In addition to your base pay, you will be eligible for an annual bonus and an equity grant.
