Key outcomes

• Develop and refine our core software products from the initial stages through to launch.
• Manage full-stack responsibilities, including the creation of database schemas, the deployment of secure cloud infrastructure, and the development of Node.js backend services and React frontends.
• Create and maintain robust integrations with dental practice management systems and insurance carriers.
• Engage directly with our clients and billing staff to identify operational hurdles and design effective, creative solutions.
• Actively contribute to the growth of our engineering culture by solving ambiguous technical challenges and establishing best practices.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong technical proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Proven ability to design and scale databases, specifically using Postgres.
• Practical experience building and managing cloud infrastructure within environments like AWS.
• A deep sense of user empathy and a strong product-focused mindset.
• A history of successful collaboration with product managers and designers.
• The ability to work with high levels of autonomy, ownership, and intellectual curiosity.
• A collaborative approach that prioritizes team success and a willingness to learn from challenges.
• Fluency in English.

Preferred qualifications

• A Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
