What you bring

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our engineering team on a contractor basis. This role is fully remote, though please note that you must reside in Poland to be eligible for this position. You will be instrumental in scaling our distributed systems and enhancing our platform using modern technologies like Python, FastAPI, Flask, and AWS. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Designing and implementing new features within our SaaS platform to support our growing user base.
• Collaborating closely with product and engineering teams to refine architectural decisions and improve development velocity.
• Writing clean, testable, and efficient code while establishing engineering best practices across the team.

Requirements

The ideal candidate brings at least 4 years of experience in building and shipping scalable applications using Python. You should have a strong background in backend frameworks such as FastAPI, aiohttp, or Flask, alongside a deep understanding of relational databases and SQLAlchemy. Proficiency in microservices architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and the AWS ecosystem is essential. We value candidates who possess an insatiable curiosity, a collaborative spirit, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members. While not mandatory, experience with Kubernetes is considered a plus. We are looking for someone who is eager to mentor others and contribute to a culture of continuous learning.

What we offer

We provide a base compensation range of 60,000 to 99,600 USD per year. In addition to competitive pay, we offer the following benefits:
