We take care of everything from checkout flows to tax compliance, ensuring our clients can focus on growth while we manage the heavy lifting behind the scenes.

What is this role?

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Payments team on a full-time, remote basis. This is a senior-level position where you will play a critical role in designing and maintaining the systems that power our ecommerce platform, including payment processing, subscription billing, and financial reporting.

What will you do?

Lead the design and development of core product features for our high-availability payment and billing platforms.
Manage complex integrations with external partners, such as card networks, payment processors, and various alternative payment methods.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams like Product, Risk, and Finance to ensure our solutions meet essential regulatory requirements and business goals.

What makes you a great fit?

You are a seasoned engineer with over 10 years of experience delivering commercial SaaS solutions, specifically using Java. We are looking for someone who communicates fluently in English and brings a strong technical background to our remote environment. Your toolkit should include:

At least 4 years of hands-on experience with SQL, particularly PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases.
A minimum of 3 years of experience building RESTful service-oriented architectures and working with Amazon Web Services.
Proficiency with JavaScript and Angular for frontend development.
Experience working in Linux environments and familiarity with Docker.
A collaborative mindset, as you will be mentoring junior developers and participating in code reviews.
Comfort with AI-assisted development tools, as our team regularly uses Claude Code to speed up our daily workflows.

We believe in pay transparency and equity for all our team members. The estimated base pay range for this position is $175,000 to $197,000 USD. Beyond the salary, we offer the following perks:
