The opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Enterprise group. In this role, you will be at the heart of our mission by building seamless integrations with various Applicant Tracking Systems, or ATS. These connections are vital, as they empower our clients and their applicants to move through the hiring process with ease. You will act as an expert in user experience for these integrations, working alongside architects and fellow developers to bridge complex software systems and deliver features that make a tangible difference in people's lives.

A day in the life

• You will dive deep into the mechanics of various ATS platforms to understand how they interact with our systems and build new, robust integration features.
• You will collaborate with both internal and external developers to define requirements for our public APIs, ensuring they remain scalable and capable of supporting new product needs.
• You will serve as a mentor to junior engineers on the team, guiding them through technical challenges, sharing best practices for development, and helping to identify and resolve complex performance issues.

Who you are

You are a curious, ownership-driven engineer who enjoys building clean and scalable code. You have a strong background in object-oriented programming, specifically with Ruby on Rails, Java, or Python. You are comfortable working with various API types, including REST, SOAP, and gRPC. You understand the nuances of building reliable distributed systems and can discuss the trade-offs of different architectural decisions in depth. Furthermore, you have experience with microservices, infrastructure services, or CI/CD tools. Because we work in a global environment, you must have an advanced command of English, both written and oral, and you are comfortable communicating with stakeholders who have varying levels of technical expertise. If you have experience with IPaaS platforms, that is a definite plus.
