About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Blueprint team on a full-time basis. This team is responsible for our order fulfillment services, and you will play a critical role in consolidating our legacy systems into a unified, modern architecture. You will work within a collaborative environment that prioritizes psychological safety and high performance, helping us build the future of our platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of backend projects while championing architectural best practices.
- Partner with product managers and cross-functional stakeholders to define, build, and launch new features.
- Mentor fellow engineers and contribute to the growth and culture of our engineering organization.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong foundation in backend development and a passion for building scalable systems. We look for the following qualifications:
- At least 4 years of professional experience with JavaScript, specifically Node.js and TypeScript.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience managing large-scale production systems, including monitoring, debugging, and alerting.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as SQS, S3, and ECS, as well as containerization using Docker.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences and advocate for your teammates.
- A desire to dive deep into code and help design robust, cloud-based microservices.

This position is remote and available to candidates located anywhere.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive total compensation package that includes equity and benefits. Our base salary ranges are determined by market data and geographic location:
- CA/NYC Tier: $180,000 to $193,750
- US Tier: $170,000 to $182,500
