What is this role?

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a remote position available to applicants based in the United States. In this role, you will be at the forefront of cloud-native technology, working with tools like Kubernetes, Envoy, and Istio to shape the future of cloud networking. Please note that this position requires occasional travel and that all applicants must be authorized to work in the United States, as we are unable to provide visa sponsorship.

• Deliver high-quality technical solutions to address the complex challenges our customers face in their production environments.
• Manage and optimize our APIs to ensure a seamless user experience within evolving cloud-native landscapes.
• Transform ambiguous requirements into actionable, high-impact tasks that provide significant value to our users.

What makes you a great fit?

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in software engineering and a passion for cloud-native systems. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• At least 5 years of professional experience as a software engineer.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience working with Docker, Kubernetes, and Golang.
• Proven experience building server-side software in production, with a deep understanding of the complexities and trade-offs involved in deploying new systems.
• Fluency in English.
• Bonus points if you have experience with Envoy Proxy, Istio, other service mesh platforms, or building Kubernetes controllers and operators.
