NeuroLogica Corp., a subsidiary of Samsung Electronics, is a global leader in the development and manufacturing of advanced medical imaging technologies. Based in Danvers, Massachusetts, we serve as the corporate headquarters for mobile computed tomography and manage the distribution of Samsung’s ultrasound and digital radiography systems across the United States. Our mission is to provide healthcare providers with fast, accurate, and efficient diagnostic solutions that improve patient care worldwide. We are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis to help us advance our imaging frontier.
Key outcomes
- Manage the full software development lifecycle, from initial requirements and design to implementation, verification, and final release.
- Develop robust applications using C, C++, C#, and Python, with a focus on embedded control systems and complex user interfaces for medical devices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of electrical, mechanical, and software engineers to troubleshoot environments, optimize performance, and refine embedded systems.
- Provide technical leadership by conducting code reviews, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring high standards for system architecture.
- Create and execute comprehensive test procedures while maintaining detailed design documentation.
- Communicate regular project status updates to stakeholders and work effectively both independently and within a collaborative team environment.
Requirements
- A Bachelor of Science in Computer Science is mandatory. A Master of Science in Computer Science is acceptable only if accompanied by a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
- At least 7 years of professional experience, including a minimum of 3 years specifically within the medical device industry.
- Advanced proficiency in C, C++, C#, and Python, with a strong grasp of object-oriented programming and multi-threaded application development.
- Experience working within Windows, Linux, and embedded environments, including Yocto.
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies and online document control systems.
- Awareness of ISO, FDA, and CMDR regulatory standards.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work safely with radiation-emitting devices, which includes the required use of a dosimeter.
