We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our fully remote team on a full-time basis. At StrongDM we build secure, high-throughput networking systems in Go that help organizations protect and manage access to their critical infrastructure. Responsibilities
- Design and implement highly concurrent, scalable, and high-performance distributed systems in Go.
- Develop secure networking protocols, routing mechanisms, real-time permissions, and auditing systems.
- Create and maintain APIs and SDKs that enable customers to integrate with our platform.
Requirements
- Seven or more years of experience developing distributed systems in a cloud environment such as Azure, AWS, or GCP for enterprise customers.
- Strong systems background with solid fundamentals in operating systems, distributed systems, networking, and databases.
- Comfort with lower-level and systems programming topics including threading and concurrency.
- Expert-level command of Go, Rust, C, C++, or a similar programming language.
What we offer
The salary range for this position is $160,000-$300,000 DOE plus equity.
