About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our product development team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will help build and maintain the modern applications that power our SaaS inventory management, procurement platform, and e-commerce shop. You will be a key contributor to our technical architecture, working alongside a collaborative group of engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality solutions for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to design and build scalable, robust software solutions while providing technical guidance to your teammates.
- Take ownership of the technical implementation and architecture for critical areas of the Quartzy platform.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of knowledge sharing to ensure our codebase remains resilient and well-tested.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in web application development and a passion for mentorship. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- At least 5 years of professional experience developing web applications at scale.
- Proficiency with our core technology stack or similar tools, including PHP, Laravel, GraphQL, MySQL, React, Next.js, Ember, React Native, Elasticsearch, and Redis.
- Experience working within CI/CD environments and writing automated tests.
- Familiarity with asynchronous worker queues.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- An entrepreneurial mindset and a history of mentoring other engineers to help them grow.
Location
This position is 100% remote, and you may work from anywhere in the United States.
