Role at a glance
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a specialized role focused on our high-performance OLAP engine, where you will work on multi-dimensional calculations and dynamic model compilation. This position is fully remote and open to candidates located anywhere.
Your impact
- Collaborate directly with our product team to translate design decisions into executable criteria.
- Design and implement high-performance, low-latency code for our core calculation engine.
- Champion a quality-first mindset while clearly communicating complex technical concepts to stakeholders and team members.
What you'll need
We are looking for someone with deep backend engineering expertise and a sharp eye for performance. You should be fluent in English and possess the following qualifications:
- Strong core Java skills, including deep knowledge of threading, memory allocation, garbage collection, and performance tuning.
- Experience writing low-latency Java code and a solid understanding of how the JVM operates.
- Proven expertise in at least one of the following: database engine development, compiler design, or front-office investment banking systems.
- Experience with language design and modern AI tools like Claude Code.
- Bonus points if you have experience with Spring, multi-dimensional modeling, or Lambda Architecture.
