The opportunity

We are searching for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Authentication, Authorization, and Auditing team. In this role, you will be a key player in designing and developing the core components of our security platform. You will work closely with product managers and fellow engineers to build capabilities that streamline application development through robust access control mechanisms. We are looking for someone who is passionate about scalable, performant, and customer-centric architecture to help us evolve our platform to the next level.

A day in the life

• You will design and build user provisioning and access management features that empower both our internal teams and our customers.
• You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to take complex ideas from initial concept all the way to successful delivery.
• You will mentor and coach other engineers on the team, sharing your technical insights and helping us all grow by improving our collective delivery processes.

Who you are

You are a hands-on developer who enjoys solving complex problems and taking ownership of outcomes from start to finish. You have a strong passion for your craft and a desire to build high-quality, robust, and scalable solutions. We value a hypothesis-driven approach, where you use data to inform your decisions and continuously improve our platform.

To be successful in this role, you should bring the following experience and skills:

• At least 7 years of relevant development experience with production-grade solutions.
• 5 or more years of experience leading the design of reliable and scalable APIs.
• Proficiency in a high-order object-oriented language, such as Python, though we are open to candidates with deep experience in Go, Java, Scala, or C#.
• Solid exposure to event-driven architectures, high-volume data processing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with public cloud platforms and building observability into applications.
• Strong communication skills in English, with experience collaborating effectively across remote teams and time zones.
