About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will work with a modern, cloud-based technology stack to build applications that process large-scale financial data. You will move beyond legacy constraints, utilizing tools like Python, Java, C#, and serverless architecture to deliver high-quality solutions while collaborating closely with our product and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust applications capable of accessing, manipulating, and delivering complex financial data sets.
- Build and maintain scalable cloud-based infrastructure for data processing and management of intricate pipelines.
- Create automated validation tools for both code and data to ensure the highest standards of quality and reliability.
Requirements
To be successful in this position, you should bring a strong technical background and a proactive mindset. We value candidates who possess the following:
- At least 5 years of professional experience, ideally with a focus on distributed systems.
- A deep understanding of ETL processes and established best practices for data quality.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A commitment to mentorship, accountability, and a creative approach to problem-solving.
- Proficiency in our core stack, including Python, Java, C#, Postgres, Snowflake, and AWS Lambda.
Location
This position is available as a remote role for candidates located anywhere in the United States. You also have the option to work in a hybrid capacity out of our offices in New York, NY, or Miami, FL.
