About the Role

We are searching for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team in a full-time capacity. This is a vital role for an ambitious engineer who thrives in a collaborative, low-ego environment. You will have the opportunity to take ownership of significant projects and help us continue building tools that make a real difference in the world.

Key Responsibilities

• Take independent ownership of designing and building new features for our platform.
• Lead technical initiatives aimed at improving our team's overall quality, efficiency, and long-term sustainability.
• Work across our modern technology stack, which includes React, TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and AWS.

Requirements

We are looking for someone with at least 5 years of experience building production-grade, complex web applications. You should have a background in leading projects alongside product managers and designers. While we value experience in B2B or B2C sectors, particularly within fintech or estate planning, we are most interested in candidates who have thrived in early-stage startup environments. You should be proficient in web architecture, API design, and modern developer tooling, with a solid grasp of SQL, automated testing, and cloud infrastructure.

Location

This position is remote and open to candidates located anywhere in the United States, with the exception of Alabama, Colorado, and Louisiana.

Compensation and Benefits

We believe in pay transparency and fairness, which is why we maintain a non-negotiation policy. The salary range for this position is $160,000 to $170,000. In addition to your salary, you will be eligible for a signing bonus and company stock options. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
