What you'll be doing

• You will design and implement core backend service features for our highly scalable, multi-tenant systems.
• You will ensure high quality by providing comprehensive test coverage, including unit, integration, and performance testing for your specific areas of ownership.
• You will maintain operational excellence by documenting design choices, creating runbooks, and setting up service level logs, metrics, and alerts for production environments.

What you'll bring

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with at least 5 years of experience working with highly scalable distributed systems. You should possess strong computer science fundamentals, specifically regarding concurrency and multi-threading. Your background should include the following:

• Proficiency in Go or Java.
• Experience contributing to or working with Open Source Systems.
• Hands-on experience with technologies such as Kafka, Cassandra, MySQL, and Elasticsearch.
• A proven track record of building and running services on AWS, with bonus points for experience with Microsoft Azure or GCP.
• Fluency in English to collaborate effectively with our global team.

What you'll get
