We are now looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Provisioning team and help shape the future of our virtualization strategy.
Key outcomes
- Take ownership of our Python-based API web application, focusing on modularity and evolution to improve how we configure and monitor guest machines.
- Partner with our Customer Platform subteams to support the deployment and resourcing of new virtualization products.
- Work alongside our Principal Engineer to maintain and harden our control plane infrastructure across our 32 global data centers.
- Act as a Site Reliability Engineer to enhance system observability, drive automation, and expand our deployment pipelines.
Requirements
- Advanced proficiency in Python, BASH, and PHP.
- Extensive experience working with Linux or BSD environments.
- Practical knowledge of deploying guest architectures using QEMU and KVM.
- A strong commitment to maintaining high-quality documentation as a standard engineering practice.
- Proven experience with Test Driven Development.
- Professional fluency in English.
Preferred qualifications
- Direct experience working with the libvirt library.
- Familiarity with Windows environments.
Compensation
The annual salary for this position ranges from $110,000 to $135,000, depending on your background, location, and specific skill set.
