The opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our UI team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and maintaining highly engaging, scalable, and secure web applications that serve our customers. You will help us enhance our existing platform while building the next generation of experiences for our users. This is a full-time, hybrid position where you will work onsite 1-2 days a week, collaborating closely with our product, design, and security teams to deliver high-quality solutions that solve real business challenges.

A day in the life

• You will design, implement, and maintain data-driven web applications while ensuring they meet our high standards for performance and security.
• You will mentor fellow engineers, pairing with them to share knowledge on frameworks, software development best practices, and new technologies.
• You will collaborate with product and design teams to gather technical requirements, plan iterations, and actively participate in team planning sessions.

Who you are

You are a seasoned engineer with at least 6 years of experience, holding a degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional background. You have a proven track record of building React frontend applications using JavaScript or TypeScript, and you are comfortable working with backend-for-frontend (BFF) patterns or APIs. You thrive in team environments and have a history of supporting others through technical blockers. You have a sharp eye for design and enjoy partnering with UI/UX experts to leverage component libraries and design systems. Proficiency in English is required for this role. If you have experience with Material UI, server-side rendering, or working within the fintech industry, you will feel right at home here.

We offer a competitive annual base salary range of $160,000 - $190,000, plus a bonus, for residents of the San Francisco/Bay Area and New York.
