The role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Product Enablement team on a full-time, remote basis. This is a senior-level position where you will play a pivotal role in developing the primary interfaces that developers and partners use to interact with our ecosystem. Your work will be highly visible and central to the success of projects building on Sui and Walrus.

Core responsibilities

• Collaborate with our core network team to define, build, and standardize essential SDK and API functionalities.
• Partner with our Developer Relations and Documentation teams to identify developer pain points and prioritize solutions that increase their velocity.
• Architect and build scalable, modular solutions while contributing to engineering best practices through code reviews and design discussions.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should bring a strong technical background and a passion for building developer-focused tools. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• At least 4 years of professional experience working with TypeScript and component-based frameworks like React.
• Deep expertise in TypeScript and a strong interest or existing familiarity with low-level languages such as Rust.
• Proven experience in building APIs and maintaining production-level services at scale.
• A solid grasp of software design patterns, specifically regarding the creation of reusable and extensible components.
• Excellent communication skills, allowing you to collaborate effectively in a remote environment and explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• A willingness to dive deep into the stack to resolve bugs or implement features that enhance the end-to-end user experience.
