Senior Software Engineer, Team Lead at MD Clarity

The opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer and Team Lead to join our remote team. In this role, you will act as both a hands-on contributor and a mentor, guiding our engineering team as we build new applications and features. You will work closely with our CTO and Product Management team to design, prioritize, and deploy solutions that make the healthcare experience clearer for everyone. As we continue to grow and expand our impact, you will play a vital role in shaping our technical roadmap and ensuring our platform remains robust and scalable.

A day in the life

• You will lead the design and implementation of new software features, including mobile-based applications that enhance the patient experience and complex data interfaces for healthcare systems.
• You will provide technical leadership by guiding fellow engineers through the entire software development lifecycle, from initial design and coding to testing and final release.
• You will participate in research and development activities to explore new technologies, troubleshoot performance issues, and optimize our data architecture to support our rapidly expanding user base.

Who you are

You are a seasoned professional with over 10 years of experience in software product development and at least three years of leadership experience. You are comfortable communicating in English and possess a strong technical background that includes:

• High proficiency in SQL, relational database design, and working with large data sets.
• Strong experience with object-oriented programming languages, such as C# or Java, and a deep understanding of enterprise architecture design patterns.
• Practical experience designing scalable REST APIs and working with modern cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks and HTML5, with a preference for those who have worked with the Microsoft technology stack or mobile development frameworks.
• A degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related field, and the ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
