Our team of 15 plus researchers and engineers, hailing from institutions like Goldman Sachs and Bridgewater Associates, works every day to deliver personalized, automated tax-loss harvesting solutions to our clients.

The role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team in a full-time, hybrid capacity within the United States. In this senior-level role, you will be at the heart of our operations, building the critical systems and infrastructure that bridge our strategy generation, trading platforms, and user interfaces. You will be responsible for managing systems that oversee billions of dollars in client assets, ensuring our technology remains robust and scalable.

Core responsibilities

• Design and implement the core infrastructure that connects our trading strategies to our user-facing applications.
• Architect and maintain event-driven serverless systems within the AWS ecosystem to ensure high performance and reliability.
• Manage the lifecycle of our software through robust CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code practices to maintain high engineering standards.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong background in software engineering and a passion for building scalable financial systems. We require the following qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience in a senior capacity working with a compiled language like Go or Java, alongside a scripting language such as Python or JavaScript.
• Extensive expertise in architecting and deploying serverless architectures on AWS, including services like Fargate, Lambda, and SQS.
• Proven experience managing both relational databases and NoSQL data stores.
• A solid grasp of Infrastructure-as-Code and automated deployment pipelines.
• A commitment to software quality through unit and integration testing, version control, and industry best practices.
• The ability to analyze and document complex infrastructure setups effectively.

Bonus points if you have experience with virtual networking in AWS, functional programming, security automation, or front-end frameworks like React or Vue.

Compensation and benefits

We offer a base salary range of $150,000 to $200,000 USD, which is determined based on your experience level and your preference for equity options. Our team also enjoys the flexibility of a hybrid work environment.
