What you bring

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a vital role in developing and maintaining automated network services using the Cisco Network Services Orchestration platform. This is a full-time, remote position based in India, where you will contribute to our mission of delivering cutting-edge network infrastructure. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Designing, testing, and deploying automated network services and SD-WAN features to enhance our enterprise capabilities.
• Partnering with network architects to capture requirements and scope feature development for complex automation projects.
• Managing the full development lifecycle, including conducting peer code reviews, developing unit tests, and maintaining build servers to ensure high-quality deployments.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong background in data center network engineering and automation. We are looking for candidates with at least six years of professional experience, including three years specifically focused on building automation capabilities. You should be proficient in Python and Java, with deep expertise in Cisco NSO, Linux, and DevOps practices. We value individuals who are proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of influencing technical decisions. Strong communication skills in English are essential for collaborating with our global team, and you should be comfortable managing multiple assignments while maintaining a high standard of integrity.
