Role at a glance
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer II, iOS to join our Rider Experience team in Germany. This is a full-time, permanent role that operates on a hybrid basis, requiring you to be in the office three days a week. You will play a pivotal part in growing our user base by refining the onboarding process and removing friction from the rider journey.
Your impact
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, product managers, and designers to drive the full software development lifecycle for our iOS applications.
- Maintain high standards for app stability and scalability by implementing clean architecture and industry-leading best practices.
- Manage the release process for the App Store, monitor production health, and proactively debug issues to ensure a seamless experience for our users.
What you'll need
- At least 5 years of professional experience building B2C iOS applications at scale.
- Fluency in Swift and a deep understanding of modern software engineering principles.
- A strong user-centric mindset with the ability to identify pain points and translate them into effective, scalable technical solutions.
- Excellent critical thinking skills and a data-driven approach to evaluating both your own performance and that of the team.
- Professional proficiency in English.
