About the Role
We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer - Identity to join our team on a full-time basis. In this position, you will design, develop, and enhance our identity management and access control systems, working on highly concurrent, scalable, and high-performance distributed systems that power secure authentication and authorization features for enterprise customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement highly concurrent, scalable, and high-performance distributed systems in Go.
- Create secure and scalable solutions that enable new security, authentication, and authorization features.
- Collaborate with Product Management to understand and prioritize use cases, scope requirements, and serve as a subject matter expert on the Identity team.
Requirements
- Seven or more years of experience developing distributed systems in a cloud environment such as Azure, AWS, or GCP, serving enterprise customers.
- Strong systems background with fundamentals in operating systems, distributed systems, networking, and databases.
- Experience with identity management protocols and frameworks including OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML, and SCIM, as well as identity and access management domains.
- Affinity for lower-level and systems programming topics such as threading and concurrency.
- Expert command of Go, Rust, C, C++, or a similar programming language.
Location
This role is fully remote and open to candidates located anywhere.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $160,000 to $300,000, depending on experience, plus equity packages.
