The role

We are seeking a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid position that allows you to work from our offices in either San Francisco or New York. As a senior member of our engineering organization, you will take ownership of features from conception to deployment, ensuring that our platform remains the gold standard for merchant data.

Core responsibilities

• Collaborate across our engineering, product, and data science teams to design and build cohesive, high-impact software solutions.
• Work closely with our operations team to monitor our data infrastructure and resolve technical challenges that affect our end users.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that prioritizes an exceptional user experience while ensuring our systems remain scalable.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should bring at least 5 years of professional software development experience and a deep curiosity for new technologies. We value engineers who pay close attention to detail and take pride in seeing their projects through to completion. While we use a variety of tools, you will be most effective if you are proficient in the following areas:

• Ruby on Rails and React for fullstack development.
• Apollo GraphQL for data querying and management.
• Experience with AWS and web crawling technologies.
• A strong foundation in modern web engineering practices.
