Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack at Pinwheel

Key outcomes

• Develop and scale services, UI components, and libraries using React and TypeScript that serve our entire customer base.
• Create and maintain mobile SDKs for iOS, Android, React Native, and Flutter.
• Own the full-stack product lifecycle, from initial design to final implementation across all architectural layers.
• Partner with product and design teams to identify customer needs and architect effective, scalable solutions.
• Foster team growth by mentoring fellow engineers and refining our internal processes and engineering standards.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience in full-stack development, covering everything from UI design to data architecture.
• Deep expertise in React and TypeScript, alongside experience with other modern frontend frameworks.
• Proficiency in building robust APIs using backend frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Rails.
• A proven track record of executing complex projects in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Strong system design skills with the ability to balance trade-offs in performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Excellent communication skills in English and a genuine passion for solving customer-facing challenges.
• The ability to work from our NYC headquarters on a hybrid basis, specifically 3 days per week.

Compensation

The base salary range for this position is $144,000 to $190,000. Beyond the base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being and long-term security, including:
