The opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our growing team and take ownership of our customer-facing and internal products. In this role, you will be a key contributor to our technical strategy, moving beyond simple ticket management to act as a true product partner. You will collaborate closely with our Product Owner to brainstorm new features and determine the most effective ways to bring them to life. This is a remote-friendly position that offers the flexibility to work from anywhere, though you are also welcome to join us at our offices in Chicago or San Francisco if you prefer a collaborative, in-person environment.

A day in the life

• Architect and maintain robust APIs and microservices using Python to support our expanding platform.
• Develop responsive front-end interfaces using React to ensure a seamless experience for our users across web and mobile devices.
• Navigate the complexities of distributed systems, from optimizing database performance and managing message queues to implementing infrastructure as code.

Who you are

You are a seasoned engineer with at least 5 years of professional experience, ideally within the SaaS or IoT sectors. You thrive in the fast-paced environment of an early-stage company and possess a strong desire to solve real-world problems for our customers. You communicate clearly in English and value a culture of humility, helpfulness, and continuous learning.

Your technical toolkit includes:

• Proficiency in object-oriented programming, with a strong preference for Python.
• Deep knowledge of relational databases, including sharding and performance tuning.
• Experience with containerization and managing distributed architectures.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, such as CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code, is a significant plus.
