The opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our high-velocity engineering team. In this role, you will be a foundational member of our technical organization, responsible for building both internal and customer-facing services that manage our order processing systems. You will play a critical role in shaping our technical landscape by establishing key design patterns and development guidelines for our backend workloads. A day in the life

• You will design and implement robust, scalable services using Python to support our growing retail operations and logistics.
• You will manage and optimize our infrastructure, utilizing AWS and Kubernetes to ensure our systems remain performant and reliable.
• You will collaborate with the team to refine our CI/CD pipelines and implement comprehensive testing strategies, including API and backend testing, to maintain high standards of code quality.

Who you are

You are a seasoned engineer with at least five years of software development experience, including at least two years working specifically with Python. You are comfortable working in a remote setting and communicating effectively with a global team. Your technical toolkit includes:

• Strong proficiency with SQL and relational databases, specifically Postgres.
• Experience with modern testing frameworks, with a preference for Pytest.
• A solid understanding of containerized workloads and cloud-based infrastructure.
• A commitment to clear documentation and collaborative problem-solving.
