The opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help us build and maintain our suite of web and mobile applications. You will play a vital role in our engineering team, using React, React Native, and Python to create tools that make a tangible difference in people's lives. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys driving technical strategy and collaborating across functions to ensure our products remain secure, scalable, and user-friendly. You will work in a remote environment where your voice matters and your contributions directly influence the next generation of mental health care.

A day in the life

• You will design and maintain our iOS, Android, and web platforms, ensuring that our codebase remains clean, secure, and highly maintainable.
• You will collaborate closely with our Product, Design, Security, and Clinical teams to translate complex requirements into robust technical plans.
• You will support the health of our production systems by monitoring performance and analyzing data through tools like Sentry, Datadog, and Splunk.

Who you are

You are a seasoned engineer with a passion for building high-quality software that serves a real purpose. You communicate clearly in English and bring the following experience to our team:

• At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience, including 2+ years of supporting commercial applications with a large user base.
• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with React Native, including a deep understanding of hooks and state management.
• 2+ years of experience working with Python or similar object-oriented languages.
• 2+ years of experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs, with a focus on security and versioning.
• 2+ years of experience working with relational databases like Postgres or MySQL.
• 2+ years of experience implementing automated unit and integration testing to ensure software reliability.
