Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack at SafeBase

SafeBase is redefining how organizations manage security and compliance through our Smart Trust Center, a platform that serves as a centralized source of truth for our clients. Since our inception three years ago, we have scaled rapidly to support over 500 customers, including industry leaders like OpenAI, GitLab, Instacart, Dropbox, and LinkedIn. Following an 18 million dollar Series A funding round in early 2022, our team has grown fivefold, and we remain dedicated to helping businesses build and maintain trust. Key outcomes

• Design and implement full-stack features that improve our web application and overall user experience.
• Collaborate directly with customers to identify their specific needs and workflows, translating those insights into high-quality product features.
• Develop and integrate modern architectural frameworks and technologies to ensure our platform remains scalable and robust.
• Partner with our founders to shape the future of our R&D department as an early-stage engineer.
• Scale our platform to support over 1,000 SaaS vendors by building reliable and efficient software solutions.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of professional experience working as a full-stack software engineer.
• Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, ES6, and React with a focus on hooks.
• Strong understanding of cloud-based web concepts, including HTTP/S, containerization, cloud deployments, and SaaS integrations.
• A strategic mindset regarding architectural design, with the ability to balance technical debt, scoping, and long-term investment.
• An entrepreneurial spirit and a history of thriving in fast-paced startup environments where you can lead initiatives toward a common goal.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Fluency in English.

Preferred qualifications

• Previous experience working within a B2B SaaS startup, particularly in the cybersecurity or compliance sectors.
• Familiarity with our specific technology stack, which includes Next.js, Prisma, Google Cloud Platform, Apollo Server, Postgres, Cypress, and Jest.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is 145,000 USD to 180,000 USD. Final compensation is determined based on your individual level of experience and expertise. We also provide the benefit of a fully remote work environment.
