Key outcomes
- Design and implement scalable, robust technical solutions using TypeScript and React to support our Ecommerce platform.
- Take ownership of complex projects, leading them from initial planning through to successful execution.
- Establish and promote engineering standards and best practices across the organization.
- Review code to ensure it meets our high standards for technical quality and functional requirements.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to improve reliability for our customers.
- Mentor fellow engineers and contribute to the professional growth of the team.
- Partner closely with product managers and UX designers to define and build impactful features.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of relevant professional experience in software engineering.
- Deep expertise in React and front-end best practices, with a focus on creating responsive, pixel-perfect user interfaces.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and a solid understanding of backend technologies, specifically Ruby on Rails and Node.js.
- Experience working with distributed systems and both relational and non-relational databases.
- Ability to design and extend scalable data models.
- A proactive, self-starting mindset with the ability to drive projects independently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- A commitment to writing clean, well-tested, and maintainable code within an agile environment.
Preferred qualifications
- Proven experience working with large-scale enterprise systems.
- Background in developing and maintaining ecommerce applications.
Compensation
