What is this role?
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team on a contractor basis. This is a fully remote position available to candidates located anywhere. As a senior member of our engineering group, you will play a vital role in maintaining and improving decentralized applications within the NEAR ecosystem, specifically focusing on building high-performance frontends and SDKs for a cross-chain decentralized exchange.
What will you do?
- You will focus on optimizing user interactions to ensure every millisecond counts, while making complex financial instruments intuitive and easy to use.
- You will design, test, and implement resilient state machines to manage request-for-quote processes effectively.
- You will build a high-quality SDK that allows other decentralized applications to integrate with our technology seamlessly.
What makes you a great fit?
To succeed in this role, you should have at least five years of experience in software engineering with a history of shipping successful products. We are looking for someone who possesses a strong grasp of TypeScript, React, Next.js, XState, and React Native. Because we operate in the blockchain space, a deep understanding of Web3 technologies and cryptocurrency is essential. You should also have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, a keen eye for UI/UX design, and the ability to work effectively with colleagues across different time zones.
