Our Nanoimager is a revolutionary tool that allows researchers to see life at a molecular level, and we are looking for a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our team in Oxford. What you'll be doing
- You will build scalable, distributed software solutions that automate super-resolution microscopy and provide actionable insights for researchers.
- You will lead the pixel-perfect implementation of our user interfaces while designing and constructing robust APIs.
- You will mentor junior engineers, review code, and collaborate across interdisciplinary teams to ensure our systems are optimized for performance and speed.
What you'll bring
To succeed in this role, you should be a fluent English speaker with a strong background in full stack development. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- At least 5 years of professional experience in both front-end and full-stack development.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Proven expertise in building large-scale applications and designing RESTful APIs.
- Proficiency in programming with Python, React, JavaScript, or Angular.
- Experience working with cloud services and database technologies like Postgres or MongoDB.
- Strong analytical skills and a talent for debugging complex systems.
