The opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with a strong focus on DevOps to join our international team. You will play a vital role in building our public-facing products and ensuring our infrastructure is robust, scalable, and secure. This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Latvia at our Teodors / Jaunā Teika office, where you will work in an agile environment that values short decision paths and collaborative problem-solving.
A day in the life
- You will design and maintain the infrastructure for our innovative new applications using Terraform.
- You will collaborate closely with our Ruby on Rails and React development teams to streamline our tools and processes.
- You will partner with our compliance team to ensure our infrastructure meets rigorous SOC2 and GDPR standards.
Who you are
You are a seasoned engineer who thrives in a team setting and enjoys helping others succeed. You bring a solid foundation in Linux networking and troubleshooting, along with a deep technical toolkit. To be successful here, you should have:
- Strong proficiency in AWS services like IAM, ECS, RDS, Route53, S3, and SES.
- Extensive experience with Terraform and Git.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Bonus points if you have experience with GitHub Actions, Terraform Cloud, or backend frameworks like Ruby on Rails or Django.
