Role at a glance
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Delivery Technology team. This is a full-time position requiring at least five years of experience. You will work in a hybrid capacity, with a preference for candidates in Philadelphia or Miami who can work onsite from Tuesday through Thursday, though we are also open to remote candidates based in New York City or San Francisco.
Your impact
- Design, build, and maintain critical services for our delivery ecosystem, including driver pay, dispatch optimization, routing, and our driver-facing mobile application.
- Collaborate with product and engineering leadership to define the technical roadmap and ensure our systems scale effectively as our business grows.
- Mentor fellow engineers and elevate our team's technical standards through rigorous code reviews and thoughtful system design feedback.
What you'll need
You should have a solid foundation in computer science and a passion for building high-throughput, scalable systems. We are looking for someone who thrives in an agile, cross-functional environment and is committed to writing clean, maintainable code.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong proficiency in modern web, cloud, and backend application development.
- Experience with Object Oriented concepts, API design, and building extensible systems.
- Familiarity with Go, Java, Python, Flutter, or Node.js in a production environment.
- Knowledge of microservices, event-driven architecture, and public cloud platforms.
- A commitment to Test Driven Development and standard industry design patterns.
- Fluency in English.

We offer a competitive salary range of $165,000 to $215,000 USD, which is determined based on your specific location, experience, and market conditions. In addition to compensation, you will enjoy:
