Senior Software Engineer (Data) at Recurrency

What you bring

As a Senior Software Engineer on our Platform team, you will play a vital role in shaping our backend architecture using Python, Airflow, Snowflake, Postgres, and AWS. This is a full-time, remote position that focuses on creating scalable services and ensuring data accuracy to support our frontend applications. You will be responsible for the following:

• Developing new ERP integrations and maintaining data pipelines that move information from ERP systems into our cloud infrastructure.
• Designing and managing database tables, views, and functions using Snowflake and Postgres while utilizing SQL and DBT for complex transformations.
• Ensuring the resiliency and performance of our services by writing unit tests with Pytest, managing deployments through GitHub Actions, and monitoring our systems with tools like New Relic.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with at least five years of professional experience and a strong foundation in software design, data structures, and algorithms. You should possess deep expertise in Python and SQL, along with a proven ability to write high-performance code. Success in this role requires excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to lead projects from start to finish. We value candidates who are comfortable working in a collaborative environment where they can mentor others and take ownership of complex technical challenges. Proficiency in English is required for this role.

What we offer
