The opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Data Platform team. In this role, you will act as a technical leader, helping us build the core infrastructure that powers data ingestion, processing, and storage for our customers. You will work across the stack, touching everything from distributed systems and machine learning pipelines to DevOps and high-throughput APIs. This is a chance to make an immediate impact on a product that is actively shaping the future of autonomous industrial control.

A day in the life

• Design and build scalable components for our data platform to ensure high-throughput ingestion and processing, which directly feeds the agents responsible for real-time industrial control.
• Develop and maintain robust REST and gRPC API services, ensuring our backend systems are extensible, high-quality, and capable of supporting both real-time inference and batch training.
• Own your services in production by participating in our global on-call rotation, performing DevOps duties like CI/CD management, and constantly optimizing for performance and reliability.

Who you are

You are a seasoned engineer with at least 7 years of experience and a deep passion for distributed systems. You thrive in a remote, collaborative environment and possess the technical maturity to lead cross-functional initiatives. You are comfortable working with Python or Go and have a strong grasp of cloud environments. You bring a customer-focused mindset to your work, and you are always looking for ways to raise the bar for operational excellence. We are specifically looking for candidates based in the UK, Norway, Italy, Spain, Portugal, or Ireland.
